We try not to use industry jargon, but sometimes it's difficult not to.
Here's an explanation of some of the terms we reference in our rate card.

Library Music

The Starter package utilises existing 'library' music and is perfect for tight budgets. Based on your brief and the lyrics required, we’ll select two suitable tracks from our extensive production music library. Because the music has been pre-produced, no changes can be made to the track. We use high-quality, non-exclusive production music, so there’s a slim chance it could be heard elsewhere.

After we’ve selected the two best tracks to suit the lyrics, we’ll create two different demos, using a professional vocalist to record lyrics for both. You can then select your preference before your jingle is finalised.

Custom Music

By far our most requested option. We’ll work with you to create a brief before composing, recording & producing the music for your jingle from scratch. The music will be completely original, meaning changes can be made if required. It will not be heard elsewhere and is yours alone to use.

You can make up to two rounds of changes to your jingle (if required) before it’s finalised. Music style, instrumentation, tempo and lyrics can all be modified. However, we’ve found that if any changes are requested, they’re usually only minor. We work hard with our clients to get the brief right because a clear brief will ensure only minimal (if any) changes are needed.

Versions & Edits

Instrumental: A music-only version of your jingle. A voiceover is often combined with this, particularly for a radio commercial.

Tail lyrics: Singing at the jingle's tail (or end). These usually only include the business name or slogan but can sometimes include both. A voiceover is often combined with this, particularly for a radio commercial.

Top & tail lyrics: Singing at the jingle's top and tail (the start and end). As above, these usually include just the business name or slogan but can sometimes include both

Full sung lyrics: Singing throughout the jingle. More like a ‘song’, a full-sung jingle is created in such a way that it includes a catchy top & tail, with the lyrics in the middle able to cover more detail.

Using one of our voiceovers will help your commercial stand out, and you can request the same talent for future commercials to ensure consistency.

Please let us know if you'd like a voiceover included in your jingle package.

Your jingle is yours to use on TV, radio or digital platforms forever, with no additional fees to pay. Simple.
